Ronson Wayne Peters
I am an architectural design student at the University of Washington, living in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. I’ve been interested in architecture since I was a kid, but it wasn’t until I worked as a makeup artist and then managed facilities that I began seriously pursuing it. Being responsible for how spaces function daily pushed me to think more about how they are designed.
That awareness still drives my work today. My inspirations found in drag, science fiction, and storytelling inform how I approach design as a technical and expressive act. I iterate design primarily through making, especially with physical models and plan drawings. My recent projects have combined digital modeling with hand-drawn vignettes to communicate spatial experience. I believe housing is a human right, and that dense, mixed-use, and sustainable urbanism is essential to the future of our cities.
